Last year, the 1.0 version of this West Coast heavyweight took my top spot for flower of the year. Social media was buzzing with anticipation for Doughboy 2.0, and when it finally dropped, I was more than ready—especially this early in the year!

Gary has once again pushed this pheno to the extreme, delivering a real treat for gasheads. Perfectly cured and nearly glistening in the bag, this bud arrived with serious hype—and it did not disappoint. Doughboy 2.0 had a point to prove, and trust me, it delivered.

Visually, it’s a beauty. While not the most dramatic showstopper, it flexes deep green hues, a dense (but not overly compact) bud structure, and a shimmering layer of trichomes. If you’ve been keeping up on Instagram, you’ve likely seen plenty of stunning shots already.

The aroma? A little sweeter than expected, reminiscent of Pink Kush with subtle gassy undertones. But the real magic happens in the taste. Right from the first hit, it hits the tastebuds with pure gas, only to fade into that same sweet profile, leaving a smooth, flavorful aftertaste. Strong but never harsh, this flower burns beautifully thanks to its top-tier cure.

And the best part? You don’t have to break the bank to get your hands on it. If you can find a solid plug, this is a must-cop. Highly, highly recommended.
